The cysts of the osteopath colleague
Some time ago, I shared a practice with a colleague who was an osteopath—a magnetic person whom I trusted professionally, since we even exchanged therapies with each other.
Those who practice the noble art of working with humans with pathologies should possess intrinsic qualities or strongly soulful traits, such as empathy, listening, and kindness. He had them all, which made him highly sought-after, and I greatly appreciated his way of working.
One day, he told me that he had surgically removed a cyst in his lower left lumbar region, and that many years later, it reappeared in the exact same area and in the same form.
He again decided to have it removed, and I tried to point out to him the connection with his diet.
Many times, I try to share what I think, but I know that often people are not ready. For this reason, over time, I wrote the book “Physiotherapy for Consciousness.” The title means exactly that each person chooses how to live and care for themselves based on their own awareness. This awareness does not come from “scientific studies,” but is a spark that ignites at a precise moment in one’s personal evolution.
Later, we separated for a period (he lived in the north), and I then learned that he developed a tumor exactly where he had removed the two cysts—the same identical position, but deeper in the intestine.
It is incredible to think about how perfect our body is and how the wrong food can challenge the immune system.
Cysts are containers of toxins that indicate the introduction of foods unsuitable for the digestive system.
The real work on oneself, in this era, must necessarily start with proper nutrition. Only after that can one begin to understand the laws governing the cosmos, especially when realizing that the gut microbiota is truly a universe of bacteria dependent on lifestyle.
Genetics, the mode of birth, a short frenulum, the use of pacifiers and bottles, breastfeeding, and weaning all have an impact (I will make a specific post if you are interested), but a conscious individual listens to their body and understands that the game can only be lost when one is afraid to take action.
